Job 39:19-25 NIV “Do you give the horse its strength or clothe its neck with a flowing mane? Do you make it leap like a locust, striking terror with its proud snorting? It paws fiercely, rejoicing in its strength, and charges into the fray. It laughs at fear, afraid of nothing; it does not shy away from the sword. The quiver rattles against its side, along with the flashing spear and lance. In frenzied excitement it eats up the ground; it cannot stand still when the trumpet sounds."

So about those idols...
| Slim always helping me out.... |
And how does that relate to idols, you ask? Well I, for one, if I'm writing about something want to do some research and it's kind of hard to do research if you are having to clean up throw up or whatever else life decides to throw your way. So I guess you could say that's how throw up (emesis) and idols got put in to a conversation together. Ah yes, that elusive blue bird of happiness, but they still make my heart jump a little and expectation. Hey Lord, could we work on what I get with my expectation. I am trying to walk in faith here. No throw up today, no throw up today, no throw up today... and sometimes, it feels and I hear the enemy speaking saying, "See, it doesn't work. Give up...give in..." and something rises up in me and yells back "No! I will not give up. I will not give in, because God's Word says ______________ (fill in the blank with what applies to your situation...).
"As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one."
Jeremiah 50:2
“Declare ye among the nations, and publish, and set up a standard; publish, and conceal not: say, Babylon is taken, Bel is confounded, Merodach is broken in pieces; her idols are confounded, her images are broken in pieces.”
King James Version (KJV)

So, Jesus had me reading about false gods and symbols in Amos, especially in chapter five, about two weeks ago. He then told me to start reading and studying on idols .
Life interfered, as it always seems to in my life, and I have not been able to devote as much time as I would like to study. So this will be another partial, but important to share, topic that I will come back and finish at another time.
The cynic in me is crying out as I'm sure the mocker in you will cry out, "Sure, it's super bowl week. Of course you're going to address the topic of idols..." Well, the truth is two weeks ago God told me and part of my hesitation to do so is the exact reason behind my thinking. Then I got to thinking, ruh roh, we're in trouble now. I got to thinking...hmmm, I started because of an interest in Bible history, symbology, symbolism, and voila, Jesus says, "Idols. Look up idols."
I can tell you right now I, for one, will NOT BE WATCHING the super bowl. I'm not going to rain on your party though, you do you. I'll do me. As for me, I'm choosing Jesus over super bowl period. You cannot eat at the table of devils and the table of the Lord. I think this is clearly one of those instances and I'm wondering, "are we at the separating of the sheep and the goats?" Hmmm, things that make you go hmmm. I can't help but feel that someone is being elevated to a idol status. I'm all for patriotism, fun, and good times, but not at the expense of my salvation and being separated from God for all eternity; from what I understand, the super bowl has been found to be one of the major traffickers of humans. I don't know, I'm not an investigative journalist. I'm a plain ole' ordinary person who reads news articles expecting there to be accountability if someone lies, cheats, or steals. Now, we find out everyone is lying, cheating and stealing and it makes it so hard to know what is truth. Who needs to be hauled off to jail and who needs pardoning and maybe some counseling...
Yea, I think I'm going to be praying and asking for forgiveness for myself and my wrongs, for my country that the USA will turn back to God and return to a standard of truth, integrity and honor and your word meant something because everyone knew you were that kind of person from the start, not a sneaky, manipulative, lying, cheating, blankity, blank, blank, blank...and now we have to go repent for cussing. Maybe I'll spend some time reading my Bible on the topic of idols and why God said, "You shall have no other Gods before me." A return to the basics so to speak, shoring up my foundation at the leading of the Holy Spirit. Jesus, thank you for all you do for me. I choose you, Lord.

One Word and A New Perspective...
So I sat with my husband, this morning, and had a cup of coffee. He shared, actually, it might have been yesterday morning. Yes, weird things start happening when you get older...Sheeesh!!! So My Hubby shared what he was reading from the Bible. Duke really has a gift for seeing things that I just read and skip on by...skip on by...wait, what did that say? He asked what was on my mind and I answered, "Christ's birth, how much I wished Christmas was not the pagan holiday that it is,"; and basically, looking for a way to get rid of the Christmas Blues that had landed on me.
This year has been really strange. First of all, my hubby was not supposed to be home at all throughout the month of December. God changed that for which I am very grateful. Next, no snow...yea, we normally have snow at Christmas time and this year, NADA! ZIP! ZERO! In fact, I think we have been warmer than my family in Florida and down South. Again odd, and adding to the questions rambling around in my head.
I've been been researching and learning trying to understand better spiritual warfare and just why things have happened as they have for myself and my family. So all this rambling to lead back to the discussion my husband and I over the wise men following the star. First of all, that's a very interesting phrase, following a star. How do you follow a star? I have always believed the star to be what is commonly referred to as the North Star. But if you look at scripture, it does not say 'the North Star.' It actually says wise men came from the east because they had seen "His Star" in the east. And this is where my husband interjected and said, "Herod asked them, the wise men, when this had happened - that must mean he (Herod) did not see the star." 'Wow!' I replied. 'How interesting! I've always assumed the star would be visible to everyone.' He then said, "Well obviously he (Herod) did not see the star and you know star also means messenger." 'Ummmm, well no, I did not know that.' I answered.
This led me to do more research on the Star which I always thought it to be The North Star. Indeed, if you look it up, you will find references to: The North Star, The Eastern Star and the Star of Bethlehem. Hmmm, very interesting...This led to some more of what appears to be traditions or maybe just falling so blindly, as us humans do, in to familiarity - i.e. We adopt names without doing the research. At least I do and it's something I need to stop doing and start doing better at READING MY BIBLE. Now it gets really interesting because tracking back to Numbers 24:17, we find a reference to a Star shall arise out of Jacob.
Now at this point I have to tell you I am very thankful and grateful for the Bible scholars who have learned Hebrew and Greek and know how to exegesis scripture for people like me. I read an article on The North Star - learning of its value as a navigational tool for travelers. But as I was reading different articles on specifically The North Star, The Eastern Star and the Star of Bethlehem I noticed they were discounting the Bible and it was more commonly thought of as 'a celestial event' that happened. I do not believe this to be the case. It's okay if you disagree with me and it's okay if I disagree with you. We can discuss this or agree to disagree and still remain kind, friendly, and learn and grow, right? RIGHT!!!
I fully believe that because the Bible says -
Mat 2:8 And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also.
Mat 2:9 When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.
Mat 2:10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.
Links to different articles -
This all got me to thinking on how I had come to think of the Star of Bethlehem as The North Star or worse, people referencing the Eastern Star. Traditions? Traditions that make void the Word of God. My mind went to Pentacost. Jesus tells them in Luke to stay until they are endued with power from on high.
Luke 24:49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.
which we see picked up in Acts Chapter 2...
Act 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
Act 2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
Act 2:3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
Act 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Again, it appears they could see the fire, they could see the cloud of fire, and the wise men could see the star, however, Herod could not. And the story of others around did not know what to think about what they were seeing in the upper room. Then believe it or not, the next day the word familiarity kept popping up and in conversations. Accountable, we are all accountable for what we know. Thank God He is merciful and works with us where we are at in our knowledge of Him and His ways which He reveals to us.
I awoke today feeling really Blah! Just Blah! I heard an awesome sermon on the importance of prophecy. It was really encouraging, just like God, and all of a sudden I realized I was dealing with a spirit of depression. I'm so thankful for the Faithful! Because they were faithful, I was blessed and God is still teaching me discernment. I thought I was having a 'bad attitude' and just needed to pull myself up by the bootstraps so to speak. After the Lord revealing it was an attack from the enemy trying to put depression on me, I was able to resist and it was sent packing. OFF THE PROPERTY IN THE NAME OF JESUS! The day went much better. The slight nausea, fatigue, and blah-ness had dissipated and left. Thank you, Jesus!
This post is long and rambling and it is probably my New Year's post for 2026 - Anybody want to have a pray in the New Year Meeting? I'm leaving some of the things I have been researching in the past. Accountable, moving forward at God's direction and being obedient to God are on my horizon. Now is the time if you want to be off my friend list, please let me know. I'm leaving the past hurts and pains in the past. Not so much research to understand what happened as God has so very aptly taught me "spiritual warfare," - as much as I can, the trauma events are being left in the past. The attacks of the enemy cannot stop what God has ordained for me. God has confirmed to me over and over things that the enemy had convinced me, "You did not hear from God, you were just being you." I'm happy to say that "No, I was not being me, I really was hearing from God, and God has so confirmed it to me that I'm going to keep on being obedient to Him. No matter what comes!"

Reflection....
questioning do I or don't I...Do I post some of my favorite Christmas pictures? Do I participate in (GASP) Pagan traditions? I really care. God has been pulling at my heart about being completely devoted to Him. How serious am I about my walk with Jesus...
I spent most of today looking up Bible verses and trying to do a word study on: Feast Days, Festivals, Commanded, Command, Altar, Groves, Tammuz, leading on to pagan 'holy' days, pagan calendar, yada yada yada. Yep, it led me right back to where I was - No, I cannot in good conscious celebrate Christmas. Not if I want to be in right relationship (friendship) with God.
Hear me out. I'm not judging you or saying you cannot celebrate Christmas, but I am saying you might want to decide how serious it might be for you to celebrate Christmas and all of the days that somehow have crept in to the Church - and are not Christian at all in their roots.
If people only knew the pain this causes and the strength it takes to stand firm in it, they would support rather than tell someone "you're just taking this too seriously." Too seriously, eh??? You mean, like you might not get in to Heaven because you didn't take a look at it, seriously?? Ummmm....No! Talk to the hand. And don't judge me for what God has placed on me and asked me to do. I can hear the words ringing now from my Pastor friend, "It'll cost you your life to be a Christian."
Did anybody notice how there was like no reference to Thanksgiving this year? One Holiday that the Church should celebrate although we really should have 'thanks giving" every day. Thank you, Jesus, that you died for a sinner like me. Thank you for saving me. And now we're on to Christmas. I had already made the transition to celebrating Hannukah (Festival of Lights) and after all, Jesus is the Light of the world. But even that, I wanted to know more about the feasts and could I just put up Christmas lights?
As I researched, again, resource after resource seemed to verify - No. No you cannot separate paganism out of Christmas. The analogy is very much like the story we learned when I was home schooling my children. You know, the one about baking cookies and putting just the teeniest, tiniest dog poo, yea you heard that right, putting the smallest amount of dog doo doo in your chocolate chip cookies. It doesn't matter does it? I mean it's just only the smallest amount. You won't taste it or smell it. You should have seen my children' faces on that one....ummmm, NO!!!! EWWWW!!! NO WAY! It seems that it does matter. And before someone accuses me of putting dog poo in their cookies, No, I haven't and No I don't. An analogy is just a story to hit home the point you are trying to make in your narrative. You know 'unpack' that sucker and let it sit there and think on it. Selah!
So you gotta ask yourself a question? "Self, do you think God really doesn't care that you call a holiday after his son's title "Christ" and say it's His birthday, (It's not!) and it's really the celebration of his arch enemy ??? " Do you really think God is okay with that? Deep in my heart I'm feeling no, I don't think He is okay with that at all. And of all years, I feel resonating somewhere deep in me that this year, this year just might be the one that you want to have everything absolutely right with God. I want to be like Abraham. I want God to say of me, I'm His friend.
I pray peace and wealth and health for all of you, friends and family, but more than that, I pray to have you join me in a journey for a closer relationship to our Lord and Savior, Jesus. Keep looking up. The signs appear to be that His return is soon, but as the Bible tells us "No man knows the day or hour," and there is a lot going on that points to prophecy being fulfilled - don't risk missing Him if you do not know Jesus. The time is now. John 3:16 King James Bible
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

THE HEADLESS SNAKE...
Spiritual Warfare in the Body of Christ
Acts 16:16 G4436
Πύθων
Puthōn
poo'-thone
From Πυθώ Puthō (the name of the region where Delphi, the seat of the famous oracle, was located); a Python, that is, (by analogy with the supposed diviner there) inspiration (soothsaying): - divination.

I am not a person prone to dreams and I know I married a prophet. How? God told me so. My hubby is a very busy person in his job, very diligent. He cares about the smallest things, indeed, some of them have driven me up a wall as his wife. I look forward to the day where he can walking in his calling. In the meantime, this is scary for me. I do not like this. It is uncomfortable, but I trust the Lord and I will obey the Lord.
Again I woke up to a voice...My first reading of asking the Lord what He wanted to say led me to Revelation 8. The voice I had heard stated "The voices rejected will now be heard." As I sat to seek Jesus this morning, and began to write ...
The voices of rejection have reached the ears of God and He wants you to know He has heard and He says, "Speak! Speak the truth! Do NOT take vengence for vengence is mine saith the Lord. But tell, tell your experiences. The weights are in balance. To those who have rejected them saying "This is not God. Why would God pick them?" I say to you, "You thought my obedient servents were loud and you told them to be quiet. I am turning them loose. I am turning loose those who will be loud and who will be heard. For those who are obedient and have been obedient I have heard and answered. It is now up to you to obey. The boldness of God - You have it! The fire of God - You have it! Continue in spending time with me and seeking me. The prophets will judge the prophets. You will know the true from the false by their fruits. Do they seek to please me or others? You will know them by their love for me and their love for my body.

To Obey is Better Than Sacrifice....
Had a dream two days ago. In it, I was having to choose. I was upset - the choice to "obey God," or choose to follow my own choice. I woke up - asking questions. I was confused, not sure...I knew the decision was crucial and I wanted to "obey the Lord" but both choices seemed that they could be "God's Way." I knew my answer lay in God's Word. I was then reminded of past events. Events where God had already proved to me that "to obey Him (His Word) is better than sacrifice." So I wake up this morning having a dream and again, the person in my dream was a reminder of an event where the choice "to obey is better than sacrifice" was really cemented in my life...a life pivoting moment teaching the concept of draw the line and do not cross it moment in my life. Again, confirmation of "it is better to obey than sacrifice." I have been making an attempt to solidly meet with the Lord first thing in the morning. Read His Word, take time to hear from Him. I was directed to Ezekial 3 and OH MY!!! As I began I was asking "Lord, is this me?" Again, I was reminded about the "ink bag." I believe it is in Chapter 8, (it was Chapter 9) but by Chapter 35, I put down my Bible and was looking for breakfast. Pondering just what the Lord was trying to say to me and asking. A video came across my path and I felt prompted to watch the video. The video happened to be Melissa Redpill. I had thought my husband had said she was a 'schill' but he did not remember saying that to me when I asked him to read this word, judge it and should I share it...see I do confer to my husband... and did not remember watching her. However, that aside, she had some good points in her video about control and manipulation. I disagree with her stance on Israel. God is not done with Israel. The church has not replaced Israel. It's another topic for another day, but I felt like the Lord was saying, "Write." It's always scary as the penalty in the Old Testament was death to a false prophet, and none of us (I'm not a prophet) None of us want to be put to death for trying to give a message we feel the Lord is putting on our hearts to say. Here goes...
"Behold, you have traded your blessing for a curse. You chose to believe another way instead of my ways. Repent! Repent! Your help comes from the Lord - Not man's logic or wisdom. Stop striving! (my thoughts - Oh Lord, help me! This is scary. I do not want this.) God is looking. Who will step up? Who will follow Him? No matter the sacrifce. His logic is not man's logic. It does not make sense, but God knows the end from the beginning. Who will obey? Who will do the right thing? Who will seek the Lord to "hear" His voice. To obey is better than sacrifice. The Feast of Trumpets is past. It will now be a solemn feast. No more rejoicing, but a wailing for you were warned. Repent! You thought to hide your sins saying "see, no one will know." But I tell you God knows for He sees all and knows all. Every knee will bow and every tongue will confess "Jesus Christ is Lord." God is gathering His people. He is not going to have a tainted, dirty bride. His bride is spotless. Who will hear the voice of the Lord? Who will obey? To obey is better than sacrifice.

Have you ever heard a sermon on hemorrhoids? Or,
how's your emerods doing????
Never have I ever, in all of my years walking with Christ ever heard a pastor, teacher, prophet, evangelist or a minister mention hemorrhoids in their sermons. I have my wonderful hubby to thank for this post today. He ordered a book "God Shock" or something like that for the title. I cannot tell you who wrote it or if that is the correct title, but he read a short blip from the book to me and yes, the Bible talks about hemorrhoids. I ran to find my Bible and look it up and right there it was, in plain black lettering ink on the white page.
If you turn to 1 Samuels 6 and start reading you will find the Phillistines had the Ark of the Covenant. They had had the Ark long enough that they were having issues and they wanted to get rid of their issue. The priests gave them specific insturctions for dealing with sending the Ark away from their presence and they needed to do to receive their healing.
As I read this passage, I laughed and laughed. I just got a glimpse of God's humor. Now some will say, that's not what that word means, but if you look it up and consider the context of the first few verses I believe it is exactly what it means, i.e. emerods = hemorrhoids. The other meaning totally does not fit what is being talked about in the opening of the sixth chapter of 1 Samuel. They had to make an image of their 'emerods' and send it along with some other things in the Ark. This brought a whole new meaning to xerox copying your rear-end on the copier at work moment. Okay, I'm taking captive those thoughts, saying Thank You to the Lord for the best chuckle I have had in a while all while thinking about all the different ways they may have attempted this task of 'making an image of their emerods.'
"Hey, my friend, could you look at my rear end and draw a picture of it?" 'Uh, NO!'
So there you have it, the Bible does talk about hemorrhoids. I almost felt sorry for the Phillistines, almost...Don't mess with God and don't mess with His Ark.

Beware Strange Food!!!
My blogging today includes another validation/confirmation that I am hearing and being obedient to the Lord to do His will. It's hard when people have attacked you so much that you do begin to doubt that you are hearing from Jesus. And to be honest, it's not the people, it's the devil trying to get you off track. They really get offended then because they're a Christian and how could the enemy ever be operating in them? Right?? Ever met one of THOSE people. The reality is we can all be one of those people.
Now on to the dream - So lately I have been asking God to meet me. I'm not a person prone to dreams or remembering them, whatever goes on in that process. However, lately I have been praying before I go to sleep, Lord meet me in my sleep. I want to hear your words. I want to know what you want me to know and say what you want me to say. This morning I woke up hearing the words "Beware the Strange Food!" I was in the middle of a dream. You know that weird thing where you are literally waking up from a dream, hearing God speaking to you while trying not to forget what you were doing or where you were at in the moment...

I could be really snarky right now and say, "I TOLD YA SO..."
First of all, God, I come to you and ask for forgiveness (repentance) ...help me convey what I have had on my heart for years and have held the word, and held the word because I thought it was me...It was just me being emotional about something I'm really passionate about...Only to find out, that no, it wasn't being passionate about something. It was you trying to get me to say what you wanted said which I still struggle with because, why Lord, why oh why would you pick me, this horrible, carnal, lives in her flesh person to try to give your words to others. It must be really bad because you keep on picking me and I keep trying to sound the alarm and everyone, I mean EVERYONE, says "You're judging." 'It's only your own unforgiveness speaking.' "Sit down and be quiet, we don't want to hear it." All while I'm struggling to believe God would pick someone like me to use for His purpose which now, I thank you because you have given me confirmation, after confirmation, after confirmation that I really was hearing from you. It wasn't all in my head. It wasn't just the pizza talking. Thank you for being understanding with me and patient and bringing me to the point that the only thing that matters is that I obey you, Jesus. You are the only one I have to be worried about not obeying.
And already the enemy is attacking and I hear, "Who do you think you are?" 'Narcicist!' "Derisive laughter with a screaming Yeaaaaahhhhh Rrrriiiiigggghhhht!"
Thank you, Jesus, you are so faithful to us when we are not faithful to you.
This post is about Praise and Worship. No, it's not a gripe about the way something was played. It is, however, about how our song lyrics should reflect true Biblical doctrine. I could really get on the band wagon right now about how satan has influenced and gotten in to the church. But, believe it or not, that is not what this post is about.
This post is about bring a sacrifice of praise unto the Lord because He is the only one worthy to receive glory, honor and praise. This post is about when ministering (leading praise and worship) to Jesus' body, how we are to approach it. I have seen some really flippent attitudes when it comes to praise and worship. Like, all you gotta do is play and sing, right? right??? NO, that's not all you gotta do. At times, in the past, when I have tried to explain I get rolley eyeballs, sighs, and mumbled 'Oh brother...' 'you're too serious..' yada, yada, yada....
Several years ago, I wrote an article that I have been sitting on for a while. I have shared it with a couple of people who I wanted them to understand the place 'praise and worship' has in my heart. God gave me the gift and I'm going to use it for only for Him. I'm going to obey when He says, "Do this." I'm afraid it will confuse people more which is one reason I have held on to it for so long and not wanting to hurt people. Also my own insecurities and doubts, but remember that confirmation. Yep, I got confirmation it was time to share it. I have to thank remant ministries who are standing against what is happening in the churchworld today for giving me the courage to try yet again...
Before I share it, I just wanted to remind you that satan was the angel who was the gifted musician who played in Heaven before decided he could take on God and take over God. There's the first mistake. The enemy knows music is powerful and did you ever not think he would not try to slip in and ruin true praise and worship? Corrupt the doctrines through music so that greasy grace and inappropriate dressing, actions, and behaviors would cause disruption to the point that no one can focus on Christ much less be able to respect and give reverance so that the Holy Spirit could move. No, the disrespect is loud and clear. The Holy Spirit is a gentleman. He never forces, He will leave where He is not wanted, and He will not try to talk over you because He is all about free will. If you want Him to move, you have to make place for Him. If He wants prayer, you pray; if He wants singing, you sing, if He wants preaching, you preach. It's never the same...He doesn't do the same thing over and over and over....that's called a rut, and to quote my Pastor, "Do you know what a rut is? It's a coffin with the ends knocked out. You just keep doing the same thing over and over." Yeah, see how far that one will get you....Please can we get back to giving the Lord all praise, glory and honor, make sure our lyrics are lining up with Biblical Doctrine and does not go against God's Word, The Holy Bible.
Here is the article..I wrote it to have an answer to give when someone asked me about wanting to be on the worship team - Warning, Remember, the priests were held to a higher standard. They had to get it right. If they didn't, it cost them their lives. If you are going to serve Christ, it will cost you your life. The flesh must die. I pray Lord, eyes will be opened, and ears will hear what you have to say in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ!
So You Want To Be On the Worship
Team???
I
have been a part of worship teams for quite a few years. I have been
approached by people who, with a sincere heart, inquire about being
on the team. I try to be gracious as I really do not want to offend
the person. Just recently I was approached and decided I needed to
have some kind of a response to make the person think about exactly
what they are asking. We are in a royal priesthood established by
Jesus Christ with Jesus himself as our High Priest. The purpose of
the music service is to bring a sacrifice of praise to the Lord, help
his people enter into His throne room and interact with the Holy
Spirit to bring a sacrifice of glory, honor, praise, and thanksgiving
to the Lord. I view my ministry as a musician for the Lord, a
psalmist, very seriously. Some people would say I am too serious as
they have rolled their eyes, basically do not get what I am saying
when after they have asked a question; I try to answer their
question. This has been a dilemma for me. Their reactions have
been, to me, flippant, irreverent, and like – “All
you do is play an instrument and sing, right?”
WRONG!
For me, to play and sing or just play or
just sing is a ministry in and of itself like a pastor, teacher,
prophet, evangelist, etc. People don’t get this and I asked the
Lord, how can I help them to understand the great responsibility
given to worship teams? - Sometimes even when the worship teams,
themselves, do not understand the great responsibility and privilege
of bringing the sacrifice of praise to the Lord. Others say, you are
just too serious and it really doesn’t matter. Hmmmm, really
doesn’t matter…I don’t think so…not when I look to scripture
and see what the temple priests were required to do for worship. If
Christ came to fulfill the law and did not do away with the law,
aren’t we still under some kind of, for lack of a better term,
regulation to fulfill our office as a worshipper with the same kind
of dedication, instruction, and seriousness of heart as a person who
is leading God’s people into His presence?
You
want to be on the worship team? I ask you to consider what the Bible
says about the Levitical Priests and the requirements for worship.
Then I ask you to consider the Royal Priesthood. Whatever God has
called you to do, he will equip you for your position. But are you
taking it seriously? Are you flippantly casting God off or not even
spending the time with him to consider how you can improve your
ministry?
I
am by no means perfect and make mistakes all the time. Thank you
Jesus for your mercy and grace because if we were under a Levitical
priesthood ruling, your life would count on you having it right with
no mistakes. So the next time someone asks me about the worship
team, my response is going to be something like – Tell me what you
know about the Priests of the Temple. While we have much liberty and
freedom in Christ, I desire to approach His throne room with all the
respect, courtesy and integrity that the priests of the temple
